Charlotte completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Monash University and graduated in 2012. Over this time she has worked in both the public and private sector and has recently returned from working in London over the past 2 years where she worked in one of the largest women and men’s health physiotherapy teams in the UK.
Charlotte’s love for pelvic health started early in her career, which took her travelling to Ethiopia to volunteer and observe at Catherine Hamlin’s fistula clinic and also to parts of Tanzania. She has completed further studies in women’s health and is planning on completing her postgraduate studies in pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Charlotte is passionate about educating women and men about their pelvic floor and empowering them to be able to achieve their goals with confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping fit and active and travelling as often as possible.
Alex Hansford-Smith
Alex completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2018. During the course of her studies, she had a range of experience from acute hospital care all the way through to animal physiotherapy! Alex was also involved heavily in furthering student education and is passionate about helping people increase their knowledge.
Alex’s interest in pelvic health began during her studies, and she is very keen to keep learning and progressing in this field. Her particular interest is pelvic health in athletes of all types and plans to undertake as much further education and qualifications as she can.
Alex was born and raised in Mornington but has spend the last 16 years living elsewhere so is very excited to be home. Alex spends her free time riding her two retired racehorses, taking her dog for walks, going hiking and surfing.
