Link to PDF Version Our Senior Physiotherapist and Lymphoedema Practitioner, Cassie Lee, combines her experience in both areas to provide a comprehensive assessment and management plan for each client. Management plans are based on individual assessment outcomes but may include lymphoedema education, skincare education, appropriate exercise programs and medical lymphatic drainage. It may also include appropriate compression therapy including bandaging or prescription of compression garments. Please consider referral for your clients if they are complaining of long term swelling in an area of the body, with or without precipitating factor have had or will be having removal of lymph nodes or radiation therapy in the treatment of cancer have experienced trauma or injury to the lymphatic vessel via burns, crush injury or severe infection are complaining of swelling following overseas travel are experiencing cording post surgical management for breast cancer or are experiencing limited joint range of movement following surgery Referrals can be made by contacting (03) 5976 4944 or via faxing an Enhanced Primary Care plan to (03) 5976 4922
